Scan Rational

How the idea of the laser scanning process can be translated/reinterpreted in a physical way? Looking into the process of laser scanning, one gets the 3D model directly through the scanning point clouds. And the resolution is relevant to the distance from the points to the scanner. Also, it is built on a Tripolar Coordination system rather than Cartesian coordinates. Paper, always manufactured as planar. We study the physical transformation in between Tripolar Coordination and Cartesian Coordinate which is easier to be projected in a planar surface. Laser-scan generates different points which indicate new coordination for geometries.
